She, in fact, lived for over 15 years and was Allan’s first role model of the power of the human spirit. A peek into Angela Mary Studer’s rural childhood portrays a private world with nature. Through nature she sensed God’s nurturing through cloud visions, dancing willow branches, strength from stones, kisses from the wind, warmth from the sun.

As a young adult she lived for eleven years in Chicago where she was attracted to a self-taught pursuit of the art through the Chicago Art Institute and studied a multitude of artistic styles and became drawn to jewelry exhibits covering every period from ancient Egyptian times through Victorian to Modern.
